Tall Software has been consulting since 1994, starting with C++/Motif/Corba and then moving into Java in 1996. Clients have ranged from Reuters, to front office derivatives. This site is about training, opinion and various API's, on-line games, applets and frameworks. The content of the site ranges from the fun (space invaders) to the developer tools (MicroSpring, LowRoad and the now retired Thong).
I've written several papers as part of the tech wars as Microsoft, Sun and the Open Source movement all struggle to dominate. I mainly stuck in the Java camp, but dipped into C#, back to C++ and now (2007) I'm finally playing with Ruby.
All the learning curves, papers and experiments are linked on the left. Some of the products or major sub-sites are highlighted below.

The LowRoad was the largest part of the site in 2000 when EJB was vital to all CV's. I sold lots of licenses too.
Other things on here are applets for clocks, space invaders and so on, hope you enjoy a look around.
